Attempts to prevent the film's release: When Dr. Stephen Greer, head of the Disclosure Project was threatened, warned against releasing this documentary, he was strongly advised to take precautions, to institute what is known as a "dead man's trigger", which would result in a massive, worldwide information dump, should anything happen to him, since it was logically assumed that he would be the target.

But in August of 2012, the father of Armadeep Kaleka, Emmy award winning filmmaker and producer of the Sirius Documentary was murdered, when a lone gunman entered the Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, where the senior Kaleka was President, and opened fire.

Witnesses said the shooter "looked like he had a purpose and knew where he was going".

The FBI ended its investigation and issued a report concluding that the killer, who (like Timothy McVeigh) was a former psychological operations specialist in the U.S. Army, where he served from 1992 to 1998, acted alone. The FBI investigated 200 leads, interviewed 300 people and gathered some 200 pieces of evidence.

The FBI’s report said no evidence was found that indicated that the shooter's actions were directed or facilitated by any white supremacist group.

They said the motive for the murder of remains unknown.
