You prefer to breathe non-cancer-causing air and drink non-toxic water.
You value a good standard of living for the public over corporate profits.
You believe people should be able to choose, in private, the family planning option that’s right for them.
You are appalled by the abject hatred and bigotry being espoused by many of the so-called "Christian" churches.
You are equally appalled by images of Jesus riding a dinosaur, which are found in pro-Creationist teaching materials.
You understand that abstinence is a swell idea which doesn't actually work, so sex-education ought to be provided and contraception ought to be readily available in order to prevent unintended pregnancies.

You can find Iraq on a map while realizing that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. You understand that WTC 7 didn't just fall down all by itself, that George W. Bush signed the order to invade Afghanistan on September 10th, 2001, and you know that the FBI & CIA had informers working hand in hand with the "terrorists" on the Oklahoma City Bombing, the first WTC Bombing, and the 9/11 attacks.
You know, because you did your research, that the members of the 9/11 Commission believed that key agencies of the U.S. government, including The Pentagon, the FAA and NORAD were deliberately deceiving them, that the CIA was deliberately impeding the work of the commission, and that the commission was set up to fail. You also knew that John Farmer, senior counsel to the Commission stated that members had "discovered that...what government and military officials had told Congress, the Commission, the media, and the public about who knew what when — was almost entirely, and inexplicably, untrue [and] at some level of the government, at some point in time … there was a decision not to tell the truth about what happened. [because] The (NORAD) tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public." You also knew that Thomas Kean, the head of the 9/11 Commission, concurred, saying: "We to this day don’t know why NORAD told us what they told us, it was just so far from the truth."

GOP voter suppression is ticking you off enough
to mobilize the vote within your circles. You knew that the Pennsylvania House
Majority Leader, Mike Turzai recently slipped up and was caught on film boasting
that the entire intent of Voter ID laws was to enable Republicans to supress
the votes of people who vote the wrong way, and was being implemented so that
Mitt Romney could be elected without opposition.
You understand quite clearly that the Republican antipathy towards Obama is
because he's a black man in the White House, regardless of how much whistling
and tap-dancing is employed by the GOP to try to make you believe otherwise.
You understand that the First Amendment is about both freedom OF religion and freedom FROM organized religion attempting to run your country and dictate to you what you can and can't do.
You understand that the words Liberal or Progressive are not synonymous with communist, socialist, terrorist, or unpatriotic. You know that the definintion of Liberal means open minded and progressive, and that as great as this country is, with all the resources at hand, we can still do a lot better providing liberty, opportunity and stability for more people.
You know that America's Founding Fathers were deist, meaning that they believed in a supreme being, but that most of them were not members of the Christian religion.
You want the meat packing industry to stop pumping cows and chickens full of hormones and antibiotics for profit, poisoning the population and creating drug resistant bacteria.
You know that Ronald Reagan was a staunch supporter of the separation of church and state.
You know that Ayn Rand wrote novels, not textbooks or gospels.
You donate money to a charity because it’s the right thing to do, and not just another tax write-off.

You realize that Conservatives, and the radical far right groups that swarm around them, are a bigger threat to our freedoms than any outside force or country.
You know that Entitlements are EARNED BENEFITS. They are called Entitlements because you paid into an insurance contract and you are Entitled to redeem funds under the provisions of that contract.
You know that police, fire, roads, sewers, parks, libraries, schools, sidewalks, garbage collection, water purification and the US Armed Forces are socialist constructs, in that each of us contributes a nominal amount of money in the form of taxes in order to provide social services which benefit all of us.
You understand that corporations are legal business entities which are NOT people and therefore should NOT be granted the rights and privileges intended for the benefit of living breathing individual human beings.
